BG Group to Exit Libya

BG Group PLC said it is in the process of relinquishing its rights in Libya and once it receives permission from Libya's National Oil Company (NOC) it will exit the country. The U.K.-based natural gas company said it drilled three wells in Libya and all were dry. “We are in the process of relinquishing the licenses and once we get permission from the NOC, Libya will no longer be part of our portfolio," a company spokesman said. - TripoliPost
