Afriqiyah Airways Hosts AFRAA Meeting in Tripoli





The Afriqiyah Airways hosted on Wednesday 18 August the meeting of the Executive commission of the African Aviation Committee (AFRAA).

During this meeting a number of issues were discussed including the developments in African aviation industry, the coordination of training programs through the ideal use of currently available training centers in the African continent.

The meeting also discussed the establishment of data base for airplanes' maintenance centers in Africa and the standards according to which these centers operate.

The purpose of these data is to find out how can be utilized for the benefit of African airlines companies.

The gathering comes as part of the preparations for the General Assembly meeting of the AFRAA which will be held in Addis Ababa in October.

The chairman of the Executive Committee of AFRAA praised Afriqiyah Airways for the organization of the meeting which ended in success.

Mr. Hussain Masoud, the CEO of the Egyptian Aviation Company, expressed his appreciation for the effort put into the meeting by Afriqiyah.

He held meetings with Captain Sabri Shadi Chairman of the Libyan African Aviation Holding Company.
