New Appointment at Kuwait Zain

Zain Saudi Arabia, a unit of Kuwait’s biggest mobile-phone company, said its board member Asaad al-Banwan will resign on 1 October 2010, according to a company statement on the Saudi bourse website. Zain of Kuwait nominated its Chief Operating Officer Barrak al-Sabeeh as the replacement for al-Banwan on the Saudi unit’s board, the Riyadh-based company said. Al-Banwan is also the chairman of Zain.- Bloomberg
