The Karbala Investment Commission signed on Saturday a memo of understanding (MoU) with eight Romanian companies to implement a number of housing, agricultural and industrial projects in the province, the Commission’s media director said. “The projects comprise the construction of 1,000 three-story building units over an area of 10 hectares equipped with all facilities as well as the building of a farm for cow husbandry and animal fodder,” Tarrad al-Asali said. Another MoU was signed to implement a project to build a waste-recycling plant and a special technical facility to pave roads with the use of enzymes,” he added. “The Romanian companies also pledged to present all necessary documents, studies and plans to implement these projects,” Asali said.- Aswat Al Iraq
